Are you Licensed, Insured and Bonded?
Yes, I am Insured and Bonded by a California
Approved Insurance Company. There is no such thing as a
Licensed Pet Sitter but Fur & Feathers is a licensed
business.
How long is your visit?
The visit depends upon the animal and the
home. If it is only one unfriendly cat,
or just a fish tank it could be ten to 15 minutes. If it
is a dog that needs walking it could be up to 45 minutes
to one hour.
Do you charge for walking my dog?
No. I do not charge for time spent. My rate
is a flat fee. It encompasses everything from feeding, playing,
cleaning the yard and walking your dog.
Do you charge for multiple animals?
No. My fee is a flat rate. You can have as
many animals (as long as there are no reptiles) as you wish.
How do you treat inclement weather?
I visit your home as requested. If dog walking
is involved, the walk will probably
be shortened.
Do you charge for watering my grass and
outdoor plants?
No. Everything is included in my fee.
How long have you been in business?
Fur & Feathers have been in business
for ten years.
If food runs out or supplies are depleted,
how do you handle that problem?
Any supplies will be purchased and added
to your invoice. Receipt attached, of course.
Are you a sole operator, or do you employ
others?
I am the sole operator of Fur & Feathers.
If a problem should arise, arrangement will be made to be
sure your family and home are taken care of.
Are you available for daytime care over
extended periods of time?
Yes, I have several families that I care
for, Monday through Friday, at a discount price, however,
you must sign an agreement stating this will be for a six
month
or more term.
Do you offer discounts, and if so, what
are the discounts?
There are several. Five percent for 10 visits
or more, up to 25 visits. At 25 visits you receive ten percent.
For disabled or senior persons I give a ten percent discount
also. There is also a discount for daily visits exceeding
six months or more.
Do you ask for payment in advance?
No. I only charge for services and fees as
done. When I return your key I will present you with an
invoice, which is payable upon receipt. If you leave or
return early from your trip, no charges will be incurred.
Do you charge for key pick-up/delivery?
No. Again everything is included in the flat
rate pricing
Do you charge extra for Holidays and Weekends?
No. Everything is inclusive in my price.
Do you charge extra for reservations or
cancellations under 24 hour
advance notice.
No. You are charged for only services rendered
by Fur & Feathers. If my hand doesnt touch your
doorknob it is a "no bill" charge.
